Badminton Iceland is seeking a national coach to work with Elite players of Badminton Iceland and the junior players in National Teams U11 – U19. The position is based in Iceland and will be a joint position between Badminton Iceland and a local club(s).

Scheduled starting time is August/September and the salary will be negotiated and is dependent on experience and skill.

National Coach of Badminton Iceland

Key objectives

-To raise the standard of elite badminton in Iceland and develop young talents

-To work in a constructive way with coaches of the clubs.

Coach at badminton club(s).

Key objectives

-To be an active coach in the club(s) with the elite players.

-Implement a development program for the players and coaches

General Profile and Experience Requirements :

-Good communication skills in English

-Coaching qualifications equivalent to BWF Level 2

-Minimum of 3 years of international experience as a coach at an elite level

-To be highly motivated to develop players

-Willing to work irregular hours, including weekends and traveling to events
